Hi, Joan. This is a tricky question because substitutions will depend on the specific recipe, so it’s hard to give a blanket answer. In MOST cases, you can either omit the gluten and dairy culprits, or you can substitute with non-dairy and gluten free alternatives. I would love to start this way of eating. I have 2 hold backs, I’m gluten free and dairy free. So many recipes are to eat on or with bread. Gluten free bread is usually not the healthiest bread. And feta,,, so much feta, which I love, but the dairy affects me terribly. Do you have a solution?

So many of these recipes are amazing, I’m so glad I found your site! I have been switching to a primarily Mediterranean diet because I’ve noticed I feel better physically and have fewer issues with my chronic pain/inflammation, and this page is exactly what I needed – one page with a bunch of recipes of things I like that I can keep open in my phone browser.

I tend to alter measurements slightly (if I have to buy a whole cucumber I’m using the whole thing, not half lol) but everything I’ve cooked from this site has been incredibly tasty. Thank you!
